TBR Tuesdays was created by Dana at Let's Book It. It's a place to share books that have been on our to-be-read (TBR) list for a while and also to possibly add yet another book to the list by visiting participating blogs!Face it, we all have lists of books that we would love to read and if you are anything like me, you likely have the pile of books to prove it. There are so many ways to track book lists, whether you choose to use an online library like Goodreads or LibraryThing or perhaps even an Excel spreadsheet or notebook in your purse, having books to buy is the biggest part of being a book lover.
Together with my Book of the Month (where I am attempting to shorten the TBR list, one book at a time), TBR Tuesdays will be a place that I am going to share one book from my list. It may be a new book, it may be an old book, it may even be a book that isn't out yet... either way, a book will be shared.
If you would like to get in on the action, please add your name to the linky below and link up your TBR Tuesday post. Also make sure you head on over to Let's Book It to see others who are also sharing this week!
Without further adieu, here is this week's book:
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. SmithIt's Valentine's Day so why not showcase a book on my shelf that has something to do with love. After hearing amazing things about this one, I ran out and spent some of my hard earned Christmas money on it and have BIG plans of reviewing it on the blog very soon - as in hopefully by the end of March.
Summary (from chapters.ca):
Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?
Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. She's stuck at JFK, late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon to be step-mother that Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's in seat 18C. Hadley's in 18A.
Twists of fate and quirks of timing play out in this thoughtful novel about family connections, second chances and first loves. Set over a 24-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

What books are on your TBR list this week?
This sounds so sweet. Shoot this is a dangerous meme. Now I have another TBR.
ReplyDeleteThis one's sitting patiently on my bookshelf as well. I've read so many amazing reviews, I'm almost afraid to read it!
