Nail Polish Lottery Club ~ February 3rd, 2013

Happy SUPERBOWL Sunday!  Around our house, this is a BIG day because my husband is a die-hard 49ers fan and for the first time since we have been together (14 years this year), they are in the Superbowl so you know what we will be doing... biting our nails!  YIKES!

Along with the Superbowl, it's also another week in the Nail Polish Lottery Club and this week's number was 48 (if you don't have 48 polishes, you can use 4 + 8 = 12 or 1 + 2 = 3). 

Number 48 on my list is OPI Suzi Says Dai.  I will start by saying that I purchased this polish because I tend to always pick with the 'Suzy' polishes when OPI releases their collections.  I don't know why, I just do.  Sometimes nail polish lovers don't need reasons for the things they do... amirite?

OPI Suzi Says Dai was filed away with the other red polishes in my OPI collection but after putting it on my nails, I moved it over to the brown section and I have to say, ICK!  It has an amazing formula and was opaque in two coats, with a super shiny finish (although I still added a top coat because... yep, I roll that way). 

I chose to describe this colour as chocolate brown but when I went to work after painting my nails, my boss described the colour as poopy brown and that pretty much cemented that the mani would only last until the end of the day.

Have you tried any of the 'Suzi' polishes from OPI?  Do you buy nail polishes based on their name?
