In My Mailbox was created by Kristi over at The Story Siren. The general idea is to share the books that you have purchased, that you have borrowed, or that you have found."I'm leaving on a jet plane... " We are officially on our way to Las Vegas today... our first trip together is as long as I can remember adn I am so excited! In addition to telling you which books arrived in my mailbox this week, I am going to give you a rundown of the fun events that we have planned. Also, if you follow me on Twitter (@TTPBookReview), I will be tweeting with the hashtag #TTPinVEGAS so you can stay tuned to the latest in our adventure!
Without further adieu, here is this weeks edition of 'In My Mailbox':

When in Vegas, we are planning to hit up the following attractions/restaurants, etc!
Monday:
TV junkie to the extreme... right here. Hell's Kitchen this year is hiring a head chef for Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas so how could we pass up the chance to try out the amazing foods there? Now, my only problem in figuring out what I want to have to eat... and how to fit it all in! HAHAHA!
Tuesday:
Brad Garrett had to be the BEST character on Everybody Loves Raymond. With our online booking package, we recevied two tickets to a selected show and we opted to go to a Comedy Club as we both love a good laugh.
Additional Events:
The Tank at The Golden Nugget hotel and casino. Can you imagine going on a three-story waterslide through a shark tank?!?! OMG, that sounds so fun and 'bucket-listy' that I have got to do this! Apparently if you aren't staying at the hotel you can swin and slide for only $20... not too shabby!
The Hypnotist - my hubby was in Las Vegas with his brother last year and claims that this was one show you cannot miss. The fact that he has already seen it and still wants to go again is the sign of a real winner so we are hoping to do this on the Wednesday night.
Bellagio Fountain - our hotel, the Vdara, is actually connected to the Bellagio so I am hoping we can watch the the fountains each night because really, that is what it is all about... remember that scene at the end of Ocean's 11? BLISS!!I am sure there are many MANY more places that we will want to see but as long as these are ticked off, my Vegas bucket list will be complete!
What do you recommend seeing while in Las Vegas? Leave me a comment and I will be sure to check it out!

Have fun in Vegas!! and awesome haul:)

ReplyDeleteSome great books here! I added Blondes & Goodbye for Now to my TBR lists. (I like that Blondes was described as like A Handmaid's Tale... I loved that book.) Also my blog partner loved Populazzi and I hope that you do too! (Elise helped Hilary Duff write her books and that's my only frame of reference when it comes to her, but I do love HD's series. haha)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
