Another way to CONNECT

What is this Instagram website about anyways?! 

I often found myself wondering why people would want to be on a social media website that didn't really do anything other than show off pictures of random stuff... it's not like Facebook or Twitter where you can just spew forth words of wisdom/rambling from your wee noggin'.  Instead, it's a picture album of random, and often useless, stuff.  These were my thoughts until that fateful day when I too signed up for an account and... O to the M to the G... I am SOOOOO hooked!

I have taken to showing my life through pictures like a fly to water... seriously, it really is a fun way to connect with people.  Also, it eliminates the need to post multiple pictures because you can just do a collage!  Neat-o!

While I still sit back and wonder whether people really care about my life and why they would want to see my pictures, I also realize that just as I lurk, so do they!  It's an online world, my friends... most of the people I communicate with on a daily basis are only an avatar away from being a serial killer... seriously!

So let's bring this whole Instagramin' thing to my world... how does it relate to this blog?  Well, it's like doing an immediate 'In My Mailbox' or 'Stacking the Shelves' (whichever floats your boat).  I can post pictures with a quick shout out to the sender.  I have also become a nail polish junkie and am painting my nails three or four times a week... did you know that people will 'like' your pictures just because of the polish on your fingers... it's crazy!!  :)
