In My Mailbox was created by Kristi over at The Story Siren. The general idea is to share the books that you have purchased, that you have borrowed, or that you have found.A lot of blogger controversary has gone on surrounding the In My Mailbox feature this week and I encourage you to look it up because I won't be talking about it here. I only say this because I am not sure if the links will be available so I may not be able to visit everyone this week but I am going to do my best to visit as many of you as possible!
Another stellar week over here at Turning the Pages and I have another order on the way from Amazon (yay for extra money from working with my mom) so it's already looking like next week will be a hit as well. Quick question... what is up with all the amazing books coming out this week and next... YIKES! Talk about a bank-breaker for a book-lover! :)
Wither further adieu, here is this week's edition of 'In My Mailbox':

I loved Forgotten - it was such an interesting story! I hope you enjoy it too!
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about Amanda Hocking but I still haven't had time to read her. Sacrifice looks really good. Great IMM :)
ReplyDeleteHi there Lindsay, I see you have Amanda Hocking's second book from the Trylle Trilogy, is that the second or third? I have read and reviewed Torn.

You have a really great haul! Reading your post just reminded me that I really need to get around to finishing Amanda Hocking's series. Anywho, thanks for visiting my Wow and giving me the heads-up about your lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeleteUgh, I'm sleep deprived. I obviously don't mean WoW, but IMM. But what's three letters among friends?

Thanks for stopping by! So many of us have found our book share posts homeless, I really appreciate that your making the effort to visit as many as possible! Have you decided which Meme to participate in? I'm thinking Stacking the Shelves or Mailbox Monday...Great books this week, yay for extra $ and hello! I was totally serious about the Amazon gift card for the link embedding direction. Email your address so I can send to you :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Forgotten and have the Amanda Hocking books on are on my To Read list.
Enjoy your books!
Oops sorry! I think I misread your post earlier, I thought I saw somewhere that you were moving from IMM next week but now I don't see that so I must have misread. Totally ignore that part in my comment. And I forgot to mention that The Lucky One is good but kind of drawn out. I saw the movie too and they did a pretty decent job of sticking to the book. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNo worries... I had something there and then deleted it because I have no idea what I am doing anymore. It is so complicated! We will see where I end up next week!
DeleteFirst off, I have to say that I appreciate the comments you left on my blog so much!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, to the books! I do very much want to check out Amanda Howking's trilogy. I have Hollowland by her, but I haven't had the chance to read it yet. Also? Breakfast at Darcy's looks totally cute! I had to check it out to see if it was a modern Austen retelling, and it seems as if it is not, but that it has many of the elements of one. I'm excited to hear what you think.
Enjoy!
Forgotten was such a good book! I loved it! I still have to read Switched, hopefully I'll get Torn and Ascend sometime soon. Great IMM, happy reading! :)
ReplyDeletei have seen a few different covers for "forgotten" all of them pretty. Enjoy them if want to see what i got in my mailbox click on my name. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteI have read and reviewed Amanda Hocking's Hollowland series (Loved it). Forgotten and The Good Father sound like they would be very good reads. Have added them to my tbr list.
