Cover Crazy #36

Cover Crazy was created by The Bookworms. It's a great way to share a book cover that took your breath away!

To me, there is NOTHING better than a cover of a book. One of my favourite places, in the world, is a book store. I can walk around them for hours just looking at covers of books. I am well aware of the saying "You can't judge a book by its cover", I just don't believe it!

When I find a book cover that I love, I will always read the back and then make my purchasing decision, but... WOW... there is just something amazing about a gorgeous cover! So, moving forward, I am going to share those covers that just made me want to escape and read a book instantly!

Without further adieu, here is the cover I am crazy about this week:

Torn by Amanda Hocking

What this cover says to me:

Another Amanda Hocking cover this week, as I continue spreading the love for her awesome covers!

Torn is by far my favourite of this series and if I had to choose the one reason why, it would be the colour. I LOOOOOVE the teal/blue of it.

Unlike Switched, Torn shows a girl on the cover in all black and this time the flowers are pure white... a total switch from the first book of the series. Here I see evil lurking in the backgroud and trying to invade the innocent. Don't you just love how I make up my own stories... however, that is all part of cover love!!

Once again, the cover has the same basis look, the dark structure in the background with the loops and swirls around the title... making this a book that will only add to the gloriousness (a word?) of your bookshelf.

Also, check out that beautiful UK version... swoooon! Although, I get a TOTALLY different feel to the story with that version!! You?

What cover took your breath away this week?

  1. I love the black and white cover with the orange leaves. So many books today have bland covers, but this really stands out and makes you curious to find out more. I haven't read any Amanda Hocking yet, but she looks like she's giving Stephanie Meyer a run for her money. And her covers certainly beat the Twilight saga covers!

  2. I'm so in love with the covers of the Trylle Trilogy! ♥
