Cover Crazy #34

Cover Crazy was created by The Bookworms. It's a great way to share a book cover that took your breath away!

To me, there is NOTHING better than a cover of a book. One of my favourite places, in the world, is a book store. I can walk around them for hours just looking at covers of books. I am well aware of the saying "You can't judge a book by its cover", I just don't believe it!

When I find a book cover that I love, I will always read the back and then make my purchasing decision, but... WOW... there is just something amazing about a gorgeous cover! So, moving forward, I am going to share those covers that just made me want to escape and read a book instantly!

Without further adieu, here is the cover I am crazy about this week:

Starters by Lissa Price

What this cover says to me:

I have a copy of this book on it's way to me and I cannot wait to get it! Based on the cover alone, it looks so creepy! The blue of her eye (as you will notice only one appears to have colour) hits my very core and chills me... so freaky!

The fact that the whole cover is in black and white (grey scale) with the blue thrown in really makes it stand out.

Another thing that I like about this book is its tagline... Survival is only the beginning. AWESOME! Can't wait to read this one and show it off!

What cover took your breath away this week?

  1. The cover you chose looks fantastic! It gives me the winter vibe and I really, really love her eyes. When I look at it, I feel like they're the only "alive" thing on the cover, amazing!

And I pretty much agree with everything you said in the introduction - I just adore walking around the book shop and looking at the covers. And even though I feel like I shouldn't judge by it, a gorgeous cover definitely encourages me to read a book!
