In My Mailbox #29

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi over at The Story Siren. The general idea is to share the books that you have purchased, that you have borrowed, or that you have found.

I've said it before and I will likely say it again, but I am on an official buying freeze. As part of my New Years resolutions (which we all know last until February) I am going to try and work my way through my back-log of books. There are currently 183 books on my shelf (and maybe a few - read 7 - in the mail) and that doesn't count the ebooks either... YIKES. Don't fret though... lots of those have become bookshelf staples and get their monthly dusting. Anyways, I will still be accepting/requesting review books, ARC's, and freebies but hubs has made me promise only ONE purchase a month... ONE. Oi!

Never fear... through the glorious gift card (birthday, Mother's day, etc) and a well planned, strategic list... I will be around the IMM crowd for a while. :)

Without further adieu, here is this weeks edition of 'In My Mailbox':

Review copies from Random House Canada and Arrow Publishing (WIN):

Some ebooks picked up for little (or no) cost on year end sales:

What was in your mailbox this week?

  1. I have a huge tbr pile as well and husband is giving it the evil eye. I am currently only buying ebooks and that is with my Christmas money (which I put to an Amazon gift certificate) so I understand the book buying ban fully. I'm still getting ARCs and wins and freebies so my pile continues to grow.

Looks like you got some great ones this week. I still need to read the first one in the Private series by Patterson, so it looks like I better get on that. Enjoy your books and good luck making your way through your tbr pile!

    Here is my IMM.

  2. I have a pretty big stack of unread books too. Instead of doing a new year's resolution, I think I'm going to do a January goal. Then I'll have to last only until January, where I'll hopefully reassess and recommit.

    Happy reading!
